After making a statement in previous weeks claiming that he wouldn’t play politics on immigration matters, it came as a surprise that the Canadian Prime Minister, Juston Trudeau, condemned Trump’s zero-tolerance policy towards illegal immigrants in the US. The U.S president has put in place strict domestic policies that have seen thousands of children being separated from their families. He recently signed an executive order to end this separation at the borders by finding facilities that would hold both parents and their children.
